The long-term care of your trees is of the utmost importance to us
At Carolina Tree Care, we are preservationists through and through. We believe that trees are a crucial part of our existence. Physically, we need them to breathe. In addition, they are needed to soften the hard corners of our world.
We live and breathe our tagline: Your trees. Your property. Our passion. We truly care about your trees. We understand the value that your trees provide to you and your property emotionally, aesthetically and monetarily. We recognize that trees are of the utmost importance to the canopy and the history of our communities. And we love what we do.
We operate safely
We understand that with dangerous tree work comes anxiety. Homeowners worry about their houses, fences, kids and pets. Commercial property owners and managers are concerned about their buildings, tenants, pedestrians, and nearby vehicles. We’ll share with you how we plan to mitigate all hazards, ensure safety and get the job done right.
Carolina Tree Care also employs TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSPs) from the only safety credentialing program in the industry that is designed to address the safety challenges that tree care companies face. Our CTSPs are trained in areas including safety leadership and incident and hazard control and prevention—providing you with the highest degree of confidence with having our team members on your property.
In addition, we continually invest in new, state-of-art equipment to prevent injury and or equipment failures. We’re compliant with all OSHA and DOT regulations.
Lastly, we are a drug-free workplace with all employees subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
We are fully insured so you don’t need to worry
We carry general liability, worker’s compensation and property coverage to protect you, the property owner.
We are ISA-certified arborists
Our residential and commercial (RESCOM) operations are run by an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. This is the highest level of certification offered by the ISA and is obtained by passing an extensive exam and abiding by a Code of Ethics. Fewer than 2% of all ISA Certified Arborists nationwide currently hold this certification—and Carolina Tree Care is proud to have one of the finest on our team.
In addition, all of our arborist representatives are ISA Certified Arborists who are knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture and have years of full-time work experience in arboriculture.
We are TCIA accredited
As stated on the TCIA website, TCIA Accreditation is a third-party consumer confidence verification program administered by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). The TCIA is America’s oldest and most respected tree care trade association. TCIA Accreditation helps consumers identify qualified tree care companies who conduct business in a safe, legal, and ethical manner. For you, the fact that Carolina Tree Care is accredited by the TCIA provides an external benchmark that you’re doing business with the right team.
We are all employee owners
When you do business with Carolina Tree Care, whether it’s over the phone or face-to-face, you’re working directly with the owners of our company. Our company is employee owned, so we all have a vested interest in our company’s success which comes directly from exceeding your expectations. We are empowered to make wise decisions and always do what is right to serve you best. And we want to. It’s how we’re hard-wired.
Our values matter
At Carolina Tree Care, we adhere to our values. We are proud to be part of the Carolina Tree Care and Lewis families—and even prouder of the service that we provide to you. When you do business with a values-based company, you work with a team you can trust.
We answer the phone
We value our relationships and work hard to ensure that we’re reachable, approachable, responsive and quick to schedule crews. Our office team is positive, energetic and excited to be at work. (And we’re serious!)
We’re passionate about people
We believe in making a difference in the lives of our employees, their peers, our families, our customers and the communities in which we do business. We have a comfortable culture that is focused on providing opportunities to learn and teach others across topics such as safety techniques, tree care, disease diagnosis, pest management and more. We’re extremely proud of what we accomplish and we have fun.
Several times per year, we provide leadership training for our entire management and supervisory teams including the up-and-comers who have assumed leadership roles. We encourage them to take what they learn to their teams to help their team members grow.. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for our craft workers to stretch themselves, grow their careers and further provide for their families.
We are ruggedly handsome
Okay, that’s a joke (unless you ask our moms). But we won’t show up to your property in three-piece suits nor will we arrive looking wild and unkempt. For those of you maintaining beautiful properties, and we firmly believe that’s all of you, we respect and honor that with our professionalism and attention to detail—in both the quality of our workmanship and personal appearance.
We respect your property
When you invite Carolina Tree Care to come onto your property, you’re inviting a team that is respectful of your land and leaves it better than when we arrived. We’ll prune properly, clean up the job site and ensure we haven’t left any ruts or messes behind. We’re professional, courteous, and respectful.
We consider ourselves craft workers
There is both an art and a science to expert tree care, maintenance and preservation. Like becoming talented blues musicians, we have all taken the time to cultivate our style and perfect our unique form. Yet, as a team, we’re all playing the same tune. We follow the rules and work toward the same goal. The sophistication of our craft attracts new clientele who appreciate our approach.
We can truly relate to you
If you were to ask us for our “elevator speech,” we might tell you that we are a team of dedicated tree care professionals who provide superior service to you, our clients, using the most up-to-date and best management practices. Or we might tell you that we’re the leading experts in plant health and tree care. But a better, more off-the-cuff answer would be that we’re tree lovers AND fellow property owners who can relate 100% to you and your needs.
We take the time to listen
When we meet with you, we want to know how you feel about your trees and how they’re affecting you. Are they a source of beauty or yet another thing to worry about? When we truly listen and pay attention to the details, we can work with you to determine the best path forward. We may see a beautiful, slow growing, 150 year old, white oak tree that is structurally strong and that, as preservationists, we want to maintain. However, if it’s creating anxiety, maybe it’s not the right tree for you. We would rather have you enjoy your trees and property—so we do what’s best for you.
When you read our customer testimonials, you’ll discover that we’re both personable and professional. We listen to ensure we understand fully what you’re trying to achieve. We then educate you on the options and explain every detail.
We love what we do
Sure, we said that in the opening paragraph but it bears repeating. We’re in this business because we want to be. It’s challenging yet satisfying to be able to help people on a daily basis. Like snowflakes, no two trees are exactly the same. Every job is unique and different than one before. Every day is a little different. And we get to work outdoors with big trucks and machines.
With all that said, we think you should give us a call.
